Southern Pecan Pie

Recipe came from Pat O'Day's recipe vault. This was on the back of a postcard from Dieter and Ingrid while in Florida. Not sure how many times this specific recipe was made in our family.

dark corn syrup

melted butter or margarine

pecan halves

9-Inch baked pie shell

Beat eggs thoroughly with sugar, dash of salt, corn syrup, and melted butter.

Add pecans.

Pour into unbaked pastry shell

Bake in moderate oven 50 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.

Cool before serving.
